A Ride on the Pride

Are you ready for a RIDE??? Do you remember the last time we did this? (At that outing, Jake Jacobs took the picture above of Andy, Tom, Bob, Jean, Pat, Chet, and Judy. John Travers paid for our trip.) Well, the time has come again!

Place, Date, and Price: City Island, Thursday, Aug. 4, $9 for seniors

Ride the Pride: Take the early cruise at 3:00 pm or take the evening cruise at 7:30 pm.
Jazzin’ on the Pride: The music begins at 5:30 pm.

We’ll have munchies at 3:45 after the early cruise. (There’s no food on the boat.) Bring your own food to eat in the covered pavilion close to the entrance of the Pride. There’s also a food truck at the beach club and a snack bar by the mini golf. Or you can eat at Café Huey. (Click the link for the full menu.)

Stay late! There’s a beach club at the end of the island with lots of chairs, alcohol, and fabulous sunsets.
