Friday, October 29th — Game and Get Together
Unfortunately, the tailgate at the McDevitt-Hershey game was a washout. We cancelled the tailgate which was smart because it rained buckets.
So we headed for drinks at O’Reilly’s Tap Room at 800 E Park Dr, Harrisburg. No photos were taken at O’Reilly’s, but our tried-and-true organizers, plus one, came to raise a glass to 55 years ago.
Thanks for showing up, Pat, Chet, Jean, Bob, Tom, Andy, Judy, Charlie, Trudy, Bob, Fran, Jake, and Don Davis. Good food and then we swam home!!!
Saturday, October 30th — The Main Event
Dukes Bar & Grille at 313 South Front Street, Wormleysburg
This afternoon was just the opposite of yesterday. Gray clouds turned to beautiful blue skies. Jim Hamilton and John/Sally McDonnell ran in to some severe traffic, but all made it for great food and comradery. You can tell by the pictures (thanks Mike Hyduk), all had a great time. Food was fabulous. Apple Rum Pork got rave reviews, but the Chicken Marsala was so good many went back for seconds. The roast beef horseradish sauce was even receiving some notoriety. No program, but of course, a pray, thanks Jim. Everyone had three years of catching up to do.

Saturday, October 30th — Part 2
Hoover-Fasick Halloween Extravaganza at 7060 Creek Run Road, Harrisburg
The evening was just as successful. Bob and Jean went out of their way to make our house party an extravaganza. Bob claims this will be the last year so around 25 of us got a rare house show. One room was better than the next with so many electronic zombies and ghosts. The committee made the food and the scary eye cake was contributed by the Davises. We ended our day with the Penn State game in one room and a fire pit outside. Beautiful ending.
